On the outside, its one of the most high quality "zoo" games from an AI/ visual standpoint, but it's far too simplistic once you get into the meat of it. You don't really have a sandbox mode at the start either so you're doing the same tedious shit over and over again and by the point where its worth jumping into the sandbox you probably won't give a shit anymore. The problem is, you never start out with enough money to do anything so you're usually making pennies for 30-60 minutes but as soon as you buy a few things, the flood gates open and you make more money than you know what to do with.
Basically, you have multiple islands where each one has a set of challenges or unique quality (like having frequent hurricanes) and you have to complete a task list to progress to the next island. If you can get it for free, the game is really cool because of how much effort went into making the dinosaurs feel like living animals (usually), but the gameplay itself is just poorly made.
